3/14/2022 12:21:26 PM write Reply Sec 5: OPA Board Sub: Criminal Elements???? From: User is offline Joe Reynolds OceanPinesForum.com To: User is offline Frank Daly (Read) OPA Board Member “Multiple concerns raised to me, and other Directors, over the past year. The above is non-responsive. Criminal elements? Of what nature? Who is raising this issue? Are these crack pots related to the idiot who was sending out anonymous information about Esther Diller as a means of discrediting her husband Stuart Lakernick? You opened a factless Pandora’s box paving the way for all sorts of innuendo and speculation harmful to OPA.” Again, not saying we need to HIRE professionals— the people we elect to the board should behave by a code of conduct, AS PROFESSIONALS. And “better” is subjective. I’d guess operationally— which would be the GM— things in the books look good. But I’m not sure as far as a sense of community, I’m not sure about that. If newbies are getting this kind of impression, is that good for ocean pines? I usually agree with a lot of your commentaries. I’m not a militant asking to toss out everyone. What should happen is board members should not act like they’re merely gossiping with no accountability because it’s “facts.” They are responsible for what they say, and perceived conflict of interest should be limited.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I do not recall calling either of them an idiot. Can you reference a message number? If I did, I should not have. Who will hire these “professionals” you envision running OPA? For example, I may not have personally liked previous staff members I inherited from prior directors. I did not use my position of power to target them due to personal views or fear of losing my position if another candidate for my position was in my line of site. Can you elaborate more on what you mean above with some specificity? Directors do not hire staff, with the exception of the GM. Some of the actors you seem to support have been extremely critical of our current GM in the past, a fact you may not be aware of. As for the well being of the “entity,” things have rarely been better - despite political battles that have little to do with the typical lot owner. Another day in paradise - Ron Fisher. |
