Joe I think many individuals in Ocean Pines including myself are so tired of all the Drama, much of it started on Facebook.
There is no question that in the last two years Facebook has dramatically changed how Ocean Pines politics are discussed. I think it is crazy that people get all worked up over a like on facebook, so very sad. Ordinarily, I would agree with you. When an individual creates a Facebook page (not the Get Involved page) and posts vile, disgusting filth about women on the board of directors we could say "Don't get worked up. The person has a problem" However, when at least two prominent, rather important members of this community are reported by multiple other individuals to "Like" those "vile, disgusting filth" posts, perhaps we should be worked up. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe I think many individuals in Ocean Pines including myself are so tired of all the Drama, much of it started on Facebook. Why can’t we all just get along , love our wonderful community and vote for the individuals that will work for us and for the BEST of Ocean Pines young, middle aged and retired! I won’t discuss who I’m voting for because if I did someone would have something to say about it (you can’t make this stuff up), can tell you it for people not involved with all of the continued Drama. I think it is crazy that people get all worked up over a like on facebook, so very sad. Who has time to even check out who liked a comment, not who actually wrote a comment but who “liked” a comment all I can say is WOW get a life! |
