For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So much for transparency. OPA members should be able to ask a board member / officer a question any time they want to. It's up to the board member to decide whether they answer the question directly, find the answer if they don't know if off hand, or direct the member to the person who can answer their question (which may turn out to be info@oceanpines.org ). This directive just adds an extra layer of bureaucracy, limits member access to the board, and does nothing to improve communication and transparency in the community. I'd be interested to learn what other board members think about this . |
