Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Perrone Resigns As OPA Treasurer Msg# 1165168

So if the Board of Directors decides on an issue, the Board President transmits that information to the GM, right?
But, if a Board Director wants information, can't they contact a department head to get it? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Larry's letter is dated Sept. 27, 2022. I hope this isn't a typo because I'd like to to see him withdraw his resignation and try to stop the direction OPA is going in. Maybe he can try to get this streamlining kick to end. Barbara, Larry Perrone will be off the board come the Annual meeting on August 13 . I don't think a Board Director should direct any employees or management except the GM but they can certainly contact a department head and ask for information. Board members cannot direct the GM, per bylaws. The board president is the person to communicate board instructions to the GM. As far as OPA's generic email goes, I think it just adds more layers to the process. As a member, I want to know who is getting my communications. info@oceanpines.org is extremely useful |
