The comments are ALWAYS limited to lot owners.
The owner who gave the bully speech goes out of his way on the pro-skate park renaming comments/pages to talk those people down. What’s the definition of a bully? I don’t agree with any threats made against this board or any other, btw. Why are people who exercise their rights bullies? They have a right to protest whoever/whatever they want. Why couldn’t the board state why they added the community ID card entrance requirement at the meeting? We’ll tell you later!?! How did Mr. Dutch get in without it but others did not? Gavin Knupp ‘debacle’? Do you want to explain that word usage? We wait for what? 8 more months to pass? What’s going to change? Oh right, the petition that is coming. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Using the virtual video for OP board meeting, I was pleasantly surprised to see the civil decorum presented this morning. And I liked the board’s decision to limit discussions to only homeowners. Between the slated discussions of the Route 90 bike path, crab pier & Gavin Knupp debacle, the boards’ decision to wait for a renaming of our skatepark or a yearly award in Gavin’s name, was a level headed decision. Wait. The resident who gave the analogy of a “bully taking a school lunch” to win, was perfect. The bully will continue, knowing he can win again & again. And the board of director who used the word “vengeance” as a tool to win the action of renaming a skatepark was boldly true. Hearing both sides plead their case was civil & passionate. So here we are. “Wait.” |
