Hi Joe ~ This allegation by you and others that the board had anything to do with Amy not getting hired or rehired is outrageous. The board and more clearly this current board has nothing to do with employment of personnel working under the GM in operations. The only person that reports to the board is the GM….PERIOD. And to go further regarding employment law, Maryland is a “At Will“ employment state and can hire, rehire, terminate or rescind any offer of employment with or without cause. Thanks Rick |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I am suggesting this was retaliation by one or more board members. The withdrawal came from the HR person but does anyone remotely believe HR made the decision? This brings to mind when Nate Douty was fired by John Bailey and he told Douty he had no choice because the board president told him to do so. Is this deja vu all over again? |
