Peck was hired to work that part-time Aquatics position back in 2017, perhaps by your daughter. She worked the position for maybe five years, leaving only to accept an appointment to fill an empty volunteer board seat and thus became ineligible to be an employee.
Now no longer on the board, she applied for the position again and received an actual offer of employment. That offer was withdrawn almost immediately after a strong supporter of the current board majority and of the Get Involved Facebook group posted on his Facebook site that Peck must be fired. That individual has also been posting vile, disgusting comments about Peck and a number of other women in Ocean Pines, women whose sin is opposing the opinions of the current board majority. Anyone who actually follows OPA politics doesn’t need glasses to read the writing on the wall. |
