| I spend around 60 hours a week with this stuff. The work I do has been used for more than 100k wetland determinations submitted to the USACE for pre construction permitting in the last few years. Our customers are some of the largest engineering firms in the US along with federal and state agencies. My original statement stands. SCOTUS left a mess that Congress lacks the will to fix. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I believe the bill was originally about waters of the United States, not low lying woodlands that may be “wet” at times. Look at the case involved. To deny a permit at that small lot was ridiculous. ephemeral body of water
