You are correct as to the dates. I cannot answer whether the contract was reviewed by Counsel, that is a question that should be directed to the committee chair, the board liaison and/or the President. The issue as to conflicting dates is one that I pointed out at the Board meeting when the changes to M-06 were considered. I believe there is an agreement for the M-06 and its attachments to be reviewed, edited where necessary and to comport with our Bylaws. The fact is we did not have time to do that this year due to a variety of circumstances - - change in committee, new procedures and decisions, new contractor etc. No question we must do better.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: As yet unreported, the due date in the contract entered into by OPA with Election Trust and the due date on the ballot package is in error. Was that contract reviewed by counsel? The due date as stated in Resolution M-06 is the Wednesday prior to the annual meeting. Thus the due date for ballots should be Wednesday, August 9, not Tuesday, August 8 as stipulated in the contract signed by Doug Parks on 6/13/23. Association members deserve to see closer attention to details. |
