Marty, I would expect the answer to be; that's a separate acquifer so go back to sleep OP Whiner.
Seriously, as has been discussed the last day or two, from what I hear, the Northeast including OP has experienced a wetter than normal Winter/Spring season. The the water scarcity excuse is so lame, it appears to need crutches. The pumping station on the South side was built around the time I sold the plant to the County. It was to provide water for the expected build out of the SSouthside. This has happened largely as forecast so there have been no surprises. Only now have there been unforecasted additions which is Marvin's development which is half finished, if that. Someone badly misestimated or hoped to get by with the present arrangement. Pressure should be put on the County to do what is necessary to fix or finish the Riddle Farms system. I'd be interested in knowing when the last acqifer assessment was made. I would also be interested to know who exactly is/has been on the advisory committee and their qualifications. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: “Non-essential outdoor water uses include irrigating lawns and landscaping via sprinklers or automatic irrigation systems” Does this mean that they have stopped watering the three golf courses? Marty |
