When did more government ever result in lower taxes?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Taxes could be collected based on the value of properties as set by an elected mayor and city council, in addition to some HOA fee. If I remember correctly 2 studies have been done on OPA converting to a Municipality over the years and both indicated the conversion would result in higher taxes. |
