Tom, are you really concerned about the landing spot? Should we assume you want it to come ashore in OC if the turbines are installed? Where do you suggest this facility be built?
Not wanting these things visually is one thing. I join the Mayor and others is opposing that aspect. All this other stuff you repeat over and over and over? Take to politics. Any electric produced will supply the Delmarva Peninsula. If you have FACTS to the contrary or some percent distribution FACTS, post here. Otherwise take your speculation to Politics where the extreme right wing reigns and rails. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Folks who watched discussions here earlier are aware of the irony of Maryland's town of Ocean City will be suffering the primary visual beach impacts and industrial impacts on the town's harbor but will NOT be the primary recipients of that offshore energy which will be landing at Indian River Delaware. Transmission lines are apparently not large enough to make Ocean City the primary recipients of that offshore power. Hence the description Delmarva Peninsula. |
