Did they rename the Tappen Zee Bridge? I have been across the new bridge many times and I still see the name Tappen Zee bridge in my mind. Oh the first time I saw the new name heading to New England I missed the exit and headed towards Albany.
Now honestly do you think he named after his father or as an excuse to name it after himself. Asking for a friend. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I agree. Next let's stop naming public edifices like bridges and tunnels after retired/deceased politicians. We paid them while they were alive, why do we owe them eternal gratitude. Naming the replacement Tappen Zee bridge after his father was one of Mario Cuomo's more egregious acts....but then there was his Covid routine. |
