Tom, I don't recall anything specific to the irrigation system although I support it.
I believe my comments at the time were focused on John Malinowski providing more of the favorable tee times to outside players, especially out of towners during the Spring and Fall package seasons. This started the financial turnaround. This upward trend continues under Bob Beckleman. I also recall being critical of OPA leadership sandbagging the golf budget. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I found your comments in 2022 about the golf irrigation very interesting. Would you care to comment again, about those same kinds of financial background matters. Updates would seem very helpful & interesting. Here's some prior message references: I'd suggest the kinds of financial stuff discussed in 2022 by Ken -- Msg# 1152245 1152212 , 1152245 1152263 That's along the same lines as earlier suggestion: would be interesting to see comparison to recent annual net operating profit for 3 yrs of history. And effects on depreciation, and the old repair costs to be avoided in the future. Is this all or part in-house or contractor? And $$$ estimates for in-house &/or outside contractors PS Some data, (not necessarily all) would be better than none. Thanks Ken |
