If the Republic contract was modified to allow this change, the decision should be re-visited with the needs of a substantial number of association members in mind.
I was wondering if the same containers used for Recyling would work for trash? To identify them as trash containers they would either have a different colored top [I have seen one with a yellow top] or a sticker identifying them as TRASH. May not be helpful as far as width but they are smaller and much easier to maneuver for older folks. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Recently we have received new trash containers to facilitate Republic's use of 'one person' trucks to collect trash. These containers are even larger than the recycle bins previously provided. Many of the residences in the Parke have small one car garages that cannot accommodate a car and the new containers. If the Republic contract was modified to allow this change, the decision should be re-visited with the needs of a substantial number of association members in mind. |
