I am in the same situation. The half-size bins are more than likely due to the height, not the footprint. The main problem is the width. I will never be able to park my car in the garage again. I do not have that much trash. I put out a 13-gallon kitchen trash bag once every week and a half to two weeks. I find it a burden to have to roll that bin out to the street for one small bag of trash.
Possibly, this may be the time for OP to let us select our own company for trash removal. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Just had Republic drop a bin in front of my house unannounced. They told me they are switching to one man trucks and need to pick mechanically. Problem for me we live in a townhouse with a 1 car garage and a small parking pad. No room in the garage for their massive container and the parking pad is too small. Called them and they said I could get a half sized bin by contacting OP. That does me no good and they did this one day after the cancellation period without penalty date. Great company. |
