Has anyone asked Bruce Bright for a legal opinion on this? It is an event promoted by OPA.
Maybe Gary Miller can SPONSOR an adults-only event at the Yacht Club pool. What would be the difference? The ad makes no mention of a private SPONSOR. The ad indicated it is a Recs & Parks event, and registration is done through Recs & Parks. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: While held at the Community Center, the sponsor of the event is not an employee and receives the profit from the event, minus her cost for the supplies for the paint and sip. |
