The most concerning liability of violating the Fair Housing Act may well be a civil litigation by any individual who feels that they or their family was discriminated against. There have been awards given by the courts that are staggering for just this type of violation. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: he restriction of discriminating against children comes from the fair housing act. Doesn’t the tax exempt status also come into play? At any rate, what’s is the penalty for violating the Fair Housing Act? I need to go back and see what Bruce Bright had to say to the Aquatics Committee. |
