Where do the Maryland Coastal Bays and Assateague Coastal Trust stand on the turbines and new pier?
The County Commissioners and Maryland Coastal Bays are at odds. Coastal Bays is taking grants from the wind farm companies. They refuse to oppose the wind farms and say they are neutral on the issue, while at the same time asking the County to support their attempt to obtain millions of dollars to spend as they choose in grants from the state. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Has the usual bout of environmental impact studies necessary for large projects been done here? If not, I don''t hear any complaints from the usual suspects who managed to delay pipelines and fracking projects. Where do the Maryland Coastal Bays and Assateague Coastal Trust stand on the turbines and new pier? |
