OPA, via some board action, is not going to try and change the DRs to prohibit short-term rentals. Forget about it.
Any association member, however, can send out a DR change form to all lots in their section Best done with help of a lawyer. If 50% plus one return the DR change approved, just file with County. Board involvement not needed. Will someone do this? Cost depends on number of lots in section as main costs are printing, sending and receiving mail costs. Several owners could get together. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Here is the latest as reported in the OC Today-Dispatch from the OC Council regarding their efforts to control short term Airbnb type rentals. I can't remember the last time the OPA Board has even discussed the issue. If Ocean City does manage to stop these STRs guess where those renters will look next?
