IMO they were hurt by all of the negativity resulting from the incident and they never were able to recover. Again just my opinion no facts to base it on.
Your opinion is not supported by the facts. Why? In the prior fiscal year, Matt Ortt made a cash-in-pocket profit of around $500,000, and that year was closer to the height of the Knupp/Ortt controversy. Association members were obviously going to the Yacht Club outside deck in droves. The problem then, as before the Knupp/Ortt controversy, and continuing to this day, is the lack of customers eating lunch or dinner in the dining room. |
