For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Good grief, Joe, would you please stop touting the place formerly known as the Pizza Hut as the new gold standard of restaurants. Sinatra didn't go on about Jilly's the way you do. I've been there and I've done that and I just don't see it. As us guys on Bel Air road used to say in the 60's TEHO.* *to each his own PS "Jack Barnes and I ate lunch at the Yacht Club every Tuesday all summer. The restaurant was virtually empty. Often we were the only customers in the bar area and the adjacent restaurant was nearly empty as well." Do you automatically append this to all your posts? You show up at a place just as the doors are unlocked and look around and say where is everybody? |
