Joe, did Matt Ortt really have a checking account in which he could write out checks for all expenses including labor?
Yes, to the best of my knowledge. I asked how OPA had control. Answer: Trust. did he write checks for Worker’s Compensation insurance for the employees. I would assume so. The employees were all Ortt's. Not OPA's. Did he write checks for insurances such as liquor, liability, fire, etc. Did he renew the liquor licenses? There’s a lot of expenses that goes with running a restaurant. I have no idea how all of that was handled. OPA kept control of their liquor licenses. |
