While OPA did not.
Well, that was due to board action. If I recall correctly, Ortt's management fee was doubled from $100,000 per year to $200,000 per year and the profit sharing was tilted more in Ortt's favor. Around that time the board policy seemed to be "give Ortt whatever he wants." Also, two past board members, Frank Daly and Larry Perrone, have confirmed a closed meeting a few years ago where the board discussed and more or less said that board members could not get free food and booze at Ortt's OPA operations but could at his other operations unrelated to OPA. |
