I'll throw this out there: why do people care if a property owner clears her/his lot? The lots are small in OP and the overall affect is near zero.
I built across the street and cleared probably 90% of my trees. No one seemed to care in my neighborhood. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Tim has been following the tree clear cutting issue for a while. He wrote Josh Vickers (who is responsible for signing off on the permits) and the info line about this particular property and included a before and after photo. Mr. Vickers reported that there was no violation on this property under the building footprint plan. Obviously the builder could've saved trees along the left side and the front of the property. The clear cutting went all the way back to the 35 foot limit. This clear cutting was never permitted but now is common. |
