For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: many of us are on fixed incomes Spare us the "fixed income" line. a 52% increase in the rate is not worth it when there are free and low-cost courts nearby with many players already moved over to them. Well, if MANY of the former OPA players have already moved and you want to play with them, then you have no option but to follow them. Time will tell - AFTER the new rates are actually in effect. I suspect income will increase - contrary to all the doomsday scenarios feared by pickleballers. |
It is meaningless unless one also states the AMOUNT of that yearly fixed income.
