You are correct, as has been pointed out here on several occasions over the past 20+ years.
Many years ago, a GM fired an employee, and the GM then gave an interview to a local newspaper about the firing. The quotes from the GM in the article resulted in the employee suing and I recall a financial settlement. OPA cannot comment. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: In Maryland, just like most states, employment is "at-will"; meaning employers can terminate employees for any reason, or no reason, with or without notice. Just like employees can terminate their employment with their employer with or without notice. That's the law Termination of employees is a personnel matter between the employer and employee. Rick |
