My point was to highlight why people would have questions.
Certainly they do. Human nature. However, as an HR professional, you know OPA cannot answer those questions. I thought Mr Farrs statement was overly broad and dismissive. Dismissive to some extent, perhaps, but Farr rightly observes OPA cannot comment. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: My point was to highlight why people would have questions. while it can be stated that it is nobody’s business, has that ever been true when a unexpected departure occurs, think Aquatics Director or Police Chief among others? Your facts may be correct, I was highlighting the perceptions. In the absence of information or explanation people will draw their own conclusions. sometimes that can be harmful to the departing individual and sometimes that can be harmful to the organization. I thought Mr Farrs statement was overly broad and dismissive. |
