If an employee resigns on their own accord generally means that there is full transparency, whether at OPA or somewhere else. When there are unknown reasons for an employee’s departure it is only natural from my experience that people are curious, have questions. Your earlier post seemed to suggest to me that any operational decision, not just personnel matters, should and could not be questioned by association members. I find that disingenuous. look it is a decision made by our GM, as I said before most but not all personnel decisions should be private and confidential. When a Promotion occurs we announce it and generally point to the reasons said person was deserving. I was just challenging your blanket statement and pointing out why people would be curious. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Agree to disagree.....employees work for operations and operations does all the hiring, promotions and terminations, etc. The only involvement the board has is with the GM and is the only employee that reports to the board and works at the pleasure of the board. Operational issues are different (ie: amenities, etc.) I understand transparency, but not when it deals with personnel matters Rick |
