I didn't know that Riddle pays OP $500K yearly for handling their excess sewage plus water we sell them. I don't recall you ever mentioning that.
Pay closer attention. Fiori does not seem to hold the OP facility in the same regard as you do. He takes the realistic view that such facilities are by nature problematical and subject to failure, sometimes spectacular. And you think people in Glen Riddle or Mystic Harbor, for example, are going to foot the bill to pay for some “spectacular” failure of the Ocean Pines plant? If so, there is this bridge you might be interested in buying. It is for good reasons that the components are situated on stream and rivers. I don'tt think that is any longer the case in Worcester. Fiori and Bertino are both playing to the voters in their respective districts. That's what pols do. In the abstract, yes. However, Fiori is trying to make people in another district pay for losses in his district. If you see some sort of moral equivalance there, we disagree. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: That so called post by Fiori contained some stuff that was interesting. Kinda good to hear the other opinions. Also didn't know Riddle's upgraded plant is scheduled for EOY 25. Fiori does not seem to hold the OP facility in the same regard as you do.
