And there is nothing we can do in a court of law? It seems something new comes out every week and NONE of it is good. It's like OP is the dumping ground for all the county's problems, all except money, in that case we are their 24/7 ATM. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There is more news on the Worcester County sewage fiasco. A rather surprising letter-to-the-editor in the April 4, 2025 edition of OC Today- Dispatch from Kathy Phillips states that the county was not only trucking raw sewage from Glen Riddle to Ocean Pines for treatment but also to Ocean City via a connection near the OC Chamber of Commerce in West Ocean City. Phillips claims this has been going on many years. Worcester County's Public Relations department today confirmed to me that the county has indeed also been trucking untreated sewage to the Ocean City system for treatment. As with the trucking to Ocean Pines, apparently this is yet another case where county Public Works failed to properly inform the Worcester County Commissioners. As with ratepayers in Ocean Pines, Phillips, a West Ocean City resident, says she is unhappy about paying to cover operational losses in Glen Riddle. |
