Sometime around 1987 (?) OPA wasn’t getting a dime of the Maryland road tax. I was developing lots in Ocean Pines and Lake Linganore.
I never knew about Lake Linganore. Chartered 1968 same year as OPA. located outside of Frederick. Looks like a nice development and about the same population as OPA. LakeLingamore |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: I really don’t want to rehash history that I believe you know as well as I. Sometime around 1987 (?) OPA wasn’t getting a dime of the Maryland road tax. I was developing lots in Ocean Pines and Lake Linganore. The board at Lake Linganore gave me a copy of their public use agreement that was allowing them to receive money to help with their road maintenance. I brought that agreement to Tim Stoner and Joe Moore and we basically changed the names and legal description and the County gladly started giving us our fair share. Marty |
