There is a big difference between 12,000 residents and 26,000. I pulled my number from Wikipedia's 2020 census. Must be a nice place with that amount of growth in 5 years.

Of this, 50.55% are males and 49.45% are females. US-born citizens make up 88.52% of the resident pool in Linganore, while non-US-born citizens account for 7.22%. Additionally, 4.25% of the population is represented by non-citizens. A total of 23,612 people in Linganore currently live in the same house as they did last year.
