Much larger population, and much younger, if the info below from Internet is accurate: There are 26,088 residents in Linganore, with a median age of 35. Of this, 50.55% are males and 49.45% are females. US-born citizens make up 88.52% of the resident pool in Linganore, while non-US-born citizens account for 7.22%. Additionally, 4.25% of the population is represented by non-citizens. A total of 23,612 people in Linganore currently live in the same house as they did last year.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Sometime around 1987 (?) OPA wasn’t getting a dime of the Maryland road tax. I was developing lots in Ocean Pines and Lake Linganore. I never knew about Lake Linganore. Chartered 1968 same year as OPA. located outside of Frederick. Looks like a nice development and about the same population as OPA. LakeLingamore |
