Jack: Dan has already spent over $193,000.00 on pretty pictures, T - shirts, hats, concept drawings, and banners. You and I, along with our fellow 8,248 members must pay for that. There may be some money due for the contract the B/O/D has signed with Blades for which the membership will be responsible. Total could be as much as $100.00 per member, but no where near the $500.00 per member Dan threatened. The question is do we bite the bullet now at $100.00 per member for no center, or do we let Dan and the B/O/D continue for a cost of over $850.00 per member? Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There is no special assessment in the works,nor has been for the residents/owners if they choose to go to referendum regarding the community center. The question, as hard as it may be to get a straight answer, is simple. If the Community Center project is cancelled are there any costs associated with the project up to that point that must be paid by OPA? If so where will the money come from? |
