Usually in cases like this, an attorney will work pro bono and those who wish to challenge will raise the money that it costs to file.

That is what has happened in other cases in which I have been involved. Just the money to file is considerable. We didn't have trouble raising the money within a fairly small group, and there are a lot of Ocean Pines people who are just sick of the diddling and fiddling around on building a community center.

The community has been TEN YEARS on this project. It is time to MOVE ON. Why would you want to waste money?? That is unbelievable to me!!!

The building looks fine.....let's just build the darn thing.

Do you want us to wrap the gazebo/pavillion in heavy plastic in winters? I guess it would be ok for really active things. Those people might not freeze if there were a small heater in there. The gazebo at the Swim and Racquet Club could be used for small meetings ...wrapped in plastic, of course. Solar heat might work for that in the daytime.

I GUESS we could survive. BUT...the question remains. WHY WOULD A COMMUNITY THE SIZE OF OCEAN PINES NOT HAVE A DECENT PLACE IN WHICH TO HOLD ACTIVITIES????

I don't want to continue using the rag tag mess that we now have.

You have been a "hair in the bread" ( as my uncle used to say ) about the community center from the first day. Why don't you give it a rest and save your strength to fight the Marina??? I am with you 100% on that.

You will be hard pressed to find people who think we do not need a community center.Most people are disgusted about the PROCESS ....not the fact that a building is needed.
