Sorry. No intent to parse. I read your use of valid to mean a valid estimate and not an invalid one as from Dan and Janet and I thought I had provided a valid estimate ..... or is that parsing? By the way, in any dispute a contractor might claim 15% profit but a more reasonable eventual settlement would probably be in the 5 to 10 percent range. |
