Aurore, my plea for "quickly" was because that is the most cost effective thing we can do. It was not to somehow avoid a STOP campaign. As you and I have discussed and even Dan will be at the head of the line to confirm, you can count me among the "so many members dissatified with the way this whole thing has been railroaded through." If you could somehow get the Board majority to vote tomorrow to immediately shutdown, I would not complain. But they won't. Stopped tomorrow, the cost might be in the half to three quarter Million range. Stopped in 75 days by a referendum vote, my guess is that the cost will be in the two Million range. Do I like the way things have proceeded to date? NO! Does it make good sense to support a referendum and stop the project sometime next year? NO! Bill Z |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: "we want to focus on getting the current project completed as quickly and cost effectively as possible..." since you are all for that, have no fears. the board, including you, will get this thing off the ground as soon as possible. they don't WANT any glitches because there are so many members dissatified with the way this whole thing has been railroaded through and now there's a STOP campaign. hurry. hurry. before someone does something to actually halt the building process. like go to court. -aurore |
