Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Community Center Contract Msg# 387559

In your view the mere fact that the BOD finally distributed something to the property owners negates and should silence any criticism of the BOD for lack of communication on the community center project. Thanks for reading my mind. Quite a feat, except you are incorrect, based on the facts. I wrote to Rakow that we could debate whether it is too late, whether it should have been in the newsletter, etc., etc. The board, late or not, communicated the essence of where the project stands. The board could have waited another couple of months and sent out the info in the quarterly newsletter. By then there might be work going on. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The board is criticized for not communicating community center info and then when they do so. What is being criticized here is NOT that the board communicated community center information but how they did it, when they did it, the delay in doing it, the method used to do it, the lack of frequency in doing it, the unnecessary expenditure of money to do it, etc. but NOT the act of doing it. In your view the mere fact that the BOD finally distributed something to the property owners negates and should silence any criticism of the BOD for lack of communication on the community center project. |
