Bill Why do you assume that if construction is stopped that real estate sales would continue? Why on earth should OPA NOT sell the interior lots as soon as possible? Why were these lots kept in OPA's inventory? The saleable interior lots that are owned by OPA should be sold regardless of the CC project. They constitute an annual cash outflow for OPA when, in fact, they can be easily converted to assessment paying lots by selling them. The whole idea that OPA has NOT sold these interior lots is yet another example of OPA's mismanagement of its assets. Thanks Gene

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Marty, why do you include the revenues from lot sales in your project stoppage numbers but leave them out of your posting of completed project numbers? And why leave out the 589 sale? Do you agree that the earliest likely date for a referendum vote is mid-February? Do you really believe Blades will only have $700K in the project by mid-February? What about all of the site prep costs between now and the vote? The $193K to date figure was a September closing number delivered at the October Board meeting and its now mid-November. That figure is not correct today, let alone in mid-February. Why do you assume that if construction is stopped that real estate sales would continue? Bill Z |
