Gene, I agree with you that these lots, after a determination is made about the possible needs for stormwater retention is made, should be sold and become assessment generating lots. My question to Marty was why he made the assumption, not whether they should be sold. It is possible that the majority could decide to stop the sales if construction were stopped. Marty, however, made the assumption in order to have revenues to offset his cancellation costs. Of course, in response he did not answer any of my questions. Bill Z |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Bill Why do you assume that if construction is stopped that real estate sales would continue? Why on earth should OPA NOT sell the interior lots as soon as possible? Why were these lots kept in OPA's inventory? The saleable interior lots that are owned by OPA should be sold regardless of the CC project. They constitute an annual cash outflow for OPA when, in fact, they can be easily converted to assessment paying lots by selling them. The whole idea that OPA has NOT sold these interior lots is yet another example of OPA's mismanagement of its assets. Thanks Gene
