Hi Russ,I agree with most of you post but you have me a little confused.I don't understand how people that voted yes would have expected this to turn out any other way.The then sitting board had not shown the capability of running any of the other projects,deteriorating community center,swim and racquet,Yacht club,etc.Everyone who voted yes has to take some responsibility for this turn of events.You had a runaway train and the yes voters were saying "All aboard" In my view a yes vote was also a vote of confidence in the then sitting board. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: nancy , the problem might be that ocean pines doesn't know if it's a retirement neighborhood,a family oriented neighborhood, or a summer vacation hot spot. how many people out of 8,000 lot owners are going to really use the center. how many people used the old one. i voted for a new center , but at this point i'm disgusted with the way things are being done. and i have no faith that this building will come out the way it should for the money being spent. and they don't even have final prices yet. russ |
