| jack i have a swim membership with beach parking every year. i use the golf course and pay non member rates with a cart rental . i think this center needs to be re - thought. we need an indoor gymnasium not some show piece that will sit on 589, that will not increase my property values , because when all is said and done the house across the street from me will still be there with the crushed car and the other four cars that belong to the guys that rent the house. so people must stop saying that this community center is going to increase my property value. and last friday we went to family bingo and i didn't see a problem with the community hall . and that was the first time i was in that building in 12 years. russ | ||||||

My comments were addressed only to your comment about purchasing in Ocean Pines for only one reason. The Ocean. You said in a reply to Nancy; nancy , i didn't buy my house to have community events , i purchased my house for the proximity to ocean city and the ocean. russ The post gave me the impression that you had no interest in ANY amenities and thus my reply.

When looking for your comments above I read several other of your posts and came to the conclusion that you were really more frustrated with how our amenities have been taken care of over the years than not interested in being in a community with amenities. If that is the case welcome to the group.
