Marty, are you advocating that, based on your 850 petitions, that construction should immediately stop? What about the nearly three times that many people who voted last year to proceed with this project. This isn't a no-fee bridge game at the Country Club. You don't have any trump cards until a new vote is in. And, Gail just added another 30 days to the schedule making it 105 days from your submission. Bill Z |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Bill: If S. T. O. P. turns in 850 valid signed petitions it would be border line criminal behavior by the B/O/D to continue generating costs until after the referendum vote. Do you believe that a referendum held today for $5,372,794.00 for a 29,000 sq. ft. butler building would pass? If your answer is yes then why not start the referendum in motion NOW and avoid any delay? If your answer is no, than you have already crossed the line. Marty Marty |
