I don't understand why people that want to sign the petition want to be secretive about it either. I have asked for petition cards on this forum, so everyone is aware that obviously I am signing one. I have distributed a few to neighbors as well. I voted "yes" for the community center a year ago, but at this point, the $ increase seems too much to handle. That's why I'm signing the petition to try and stop the construction. I still would like a cc, I just don't know how to get it done with a lesser $ figure.  That's why I think it should go back for another shot. 

I don't understand hypocracy. If people can't be honest about what they are doing, why are they doing it? It seems to me that if someone is asked if they signed or will sign the darn petition, why wouldn't they say so? I think it lowers their credibility (Janet) to be so secretive. I believe that the bod are still lot owners and should act in that manner. However, I don't believe they do. For some reason, it appears they get "big heads" and it seems to be an "ego trip" for alot of people. Maybe that's the problem with some of our current bod. Perhaps it is a feather in someone's cap, but they should be honest and forthcoming to their friends, neighbors and the membership they represent.
