My apologies for not recalling your vote. Must have confused you with someone else in that regard. However, if you truly believe OPA needs a new Community Center but not at the current cost of $5.4 million, you might consider that if this one is not built we will not have a new CC for many years, if ever, and if one is built in the future it will cost much more than the current proposal, or we would get a lot less for the same $5.4 million. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: though i can understand why you think i voted yes for the c.c. referendum, i did not. however, upon thinking about a new c.c. i believe we need one - but not at the cost now proposed - about $6 or more milllion. i have already signed the petition for the c.c. to go to referendum again. opa members should have a voice in just how much we are willing to spend to get this thing off the ground. |
