joe, apology accepted. yes, i do believe a new community center is wanted and needed but why can't the proposed c.c. be scaled down in order to meet the estimated original cost of $3.9 million? of course the people of o.p. would not get all of what they "want". i truly believe a compromize is the best avenue to take. what do you think? -aurore |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: My apologies for not recalling your vote. Must have confused you with someone else in that regard. However, if you truly believe OPA needs a new Community Center but not at the current cost of $5.4 million, you might consider that if this one is not built we will not have a new CC for many years, if ever, and if one is built in the future it will cost much more than the current proposal, or we would get a lot less for the same $5.4 million. |
