W, If this were an area used exclusively for sporting events or for a more competitive level of sports/recreation, I would likely agree with you. However, given its likely use, a synthetic surface will prove to be a good choice from a maintenance perspective. The same may have been said of artificial turf, but the latest incarnation of field turf is a very viable alternative to natural grass. Waxed floor? It's hardly a surface that is slick. I suggest you take a trip to the gym at the MOst Blessed Sacrament Catholic School or the Community Church. Those who went to the latest production of the Pines Players may be able to comment on the floor surface. |
