![]() ![]() Section 18: Worcester County Subject: Selling Us Out Msg# 463326

One needs to follow the money. Start thinking about the high cost for Riddle Farms to treat their water. Once the connection is made they can get the good, much less expensive OP water for about 8 or nine months out of the year. And that takes much more water from an aquifer the county tells us can't be tapped any more. This sell out has more twists and turns than one of Trimpers rides. I'll dig up some previously written material on this when I have a chance. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: • The population of Ocean Pines continues to grow and the need for water also continues to grow bringing the day closer when this supplemental supply is needed. I wish someone would explain the above to me. I have been to meetings of our Commissioners where they commented that Ocean Pines had a plentiful supply of water. Is something else going on that I am missing? |
