Shouldn't the same logic be applied for the golf course lot owners? Doesn't it cost to maintain the golf course? If the people just live next to the golf course and do not play golf why should they have to pay for course maintenance? Supposedly golf memberships pay for that. We have friends who live on the golf course and there are often men in the yard searching for a lost ball .....and .....on occasion some are relieving themselves. Gross! The property owner should have to pay extra for this??? I am thinking that perhaps you don't quite understand how assessments work around here. Nancy |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: waterfront people pay extra for bulkheads Why? Maybe because it costs more for bulkheads and canal maintenance, etc. Shouldn't the same logic be applied for the golf course lot owners? Doesn't it cost to maintain the golf course? They do not wear out the roads faster, use more pool time or tennis time or wear out the walking trails more than anyone else. We all pay the same for the support of our amenities and that is the way it should be I couldn't agree more on these items. Gary |
